Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Ext Probe reads, stores, and transmits when a seller or operator uses the extension and connected API.
What Ext Probe Does
Ext Probe is a seller monitoring product focused on store health checks, alerting, and operational visibility. The current product path is Shopee-first, with Amazon kept as a later expansion track.
What Data We Read
- Store connection metadata such as store label, marketplace, region, and authorization expiry time.
- Marketplace operational data needed for health monitoring, such as order snapshots, product or inventory status, and related alert signals.
- Audit and notification metadata needed to explain system activity and reduce duplicate alerts.
What The Extension Stores Locally
- API base URL and lightweight local preferences.
- The extension is not intended to expose plaintext marketplace token secrets through normal workspace APIs.
Token And Credential Handling
- Marketplace access tokens are encrypted before storage.
- Token secret values are not returned by standard frontend workspace APIs.
- Tokens are decrypted only when required for outbound marketplace API calls.
- Users can disconnect locally and can also revoke marketplace authorization from the source seller platform.
Notifications
If Telegram notifications are enabled, Ext Probe may send alert and recovery messages containing store label, marketplace, severity, score, and high-level issue summaries. Notification dedupe and recovery state may be persisted when database-backed storage is enabled.
How Data Is Used
- To calculate store health status and show operational summaries.
- To trigger alerts and recovery notifications.
- To support disconnect, revoke guidance, and audit review.
- To improve reliability of health checks and reduce noisy duplicate notifications.
Third-Party Sharing
Ext Probe should not present itself as selling or broadly sharing seller operational data with third parties. Marketplace data may be transmitted to the configured Ext Probe backend and to the configured notification provider when alerts are enabled.
User Controls
- Users can disconnect a store from Ext Probe to remove locally stored encrypted credentials.
- Users can follow marketplace-specific revoke guidance to invalidate access at the source platform.
- Operators can review current trust posture and audit summaries from the product surfaces.
